At Flexy Mart, we want you to enjoy your bag for as long as possible. Proper use, storage, and care can help maintain the appearance and condition of your product.

This guide provides general safety and care information for the bags and accessories available through Flexy Mart.

USING YOUR BAG SAFELY

Our bags are designed for their intended everyday purposes. To help keep your bag in good condition:

Use the bag for its intended purpose.
Avoid placing excessive weight inside the bag.
Distribute heavier items evenly where possible.
Avoid carrying sharp objects without suitable protection.
Keep zippers, clasps, straps, and other closures free from objects that could obstruct or damage them.
Check straps, handles, and attachment points periodically for signs of wear.
Stop using the product if a strap, handle, closure, or other component becomes significantly damaged.

AVOID OVERLOADING

Every bag has practical limits based on its construction, materials, stitching, handles, straps, and closures.

Avoid overfilling your bag or carrying excessive weight, as this can place unnecessary stress on the material and hardware.

Overloading may cause stretching, deformation, damaged stitching, broken closures, or damage to straps and handles.

KEEP AWAY FROM WATER AND MOISTURE

Unless a product is specifically described as waterproof or water-resistant, it should be protected from excessive moisture.

If your bag becomes wet:

Gently remove excess moisture with a soft, clean cloth.
Allow it to air dry naturally.
Keep it away from direct heat sources while drying.
Do not use a hair dryer, heater, or other strong heat source to dry the product.

Avoid storing a damp bag, as prolonged moisture may affect certain materials and finishes.

CLEANING YOUR BAG

Care requirements vary depending on the material and construction of each product.

For general surface cleaning:

Use a soft, clean cloth.
Gently wipe away dirt or surface marks.
Avoid soaking the product.
Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, strong detergents, or abrasive cleaning products.
Test any cleaning method on a small, less visible area first when appropriate.

Where a product comes with specific care instructions, those instructions should take priority.

PROTECTING THE MATERIAL

To help maintain the appearance of your bag, avoid unnecessary exposure to:

Prolonged direct sunlight
Excessive heat
Heavy moisture
Perfumes and cosmetic products
Oils and greasy substances
Sharp or abrasive surfaces
Harsh cleaning chemicals

Some materials may naturally develop changes in appearance over time through normal use. This does not necessarily indicate a product defect.

HANDLES, STRAPS AND HARDWARE

Handles and shoulder or crossbody straps should be used appropriately and should not be pulled, twisted, or overloaded unnecessarily.

Take care when using metal hardware, buckles, clasps, zippers, and other fittings. Repeated force, impact, or excessive weight may cause damage.

If you notice significant damage to a strap, handle, buckle, clasp, or other structural component, stop using the bag and contact Flexy Mart if the issue may be related to a product defect.

STORAGE RECOMMENDATIONS

When you are not using your bag:

Store it in a clean, dry place.
Keep it away from excessive heat and moisture.
Avoid placing heavy objects on top of it.
Where practical, store it in a way that helps maintain its shape.
Keep it away from sharp objects that could scratch or puncture the material.

If the bag includes a removable or protective storage pouch, you may use it to help protect the product when stored.

CHILD SAFETY

Bags and their components are not intended to be used as toys.

Keep packaging materials, protective coverings, and small detachable components away from young children where they may present a choking or other safety risk.

Do not allow children to play with straps, cords, chains, detachable accessories, or packaging materials.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS

Customers are responsible for the items they place inside their bags.

Avoid carrying liquids, sharp objects, or other items that could leak, spill, puncture, stain, or otherwise damage the inside or outside of the bag unless they are properly secured.

Where possible, keep liquids in sealed containers and separate them from items that could be damaged by leaks.

PRODUCT-SPECIFIC CARE

Not every bag requires the same type of care.

Material, construction, finishes, hardware, and other product characteristics can affect how a particular bag should be cleaned and maintained.

Always check the individual product information for any specific care instructions provided for that item.

NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR

With regular use, bags may naturally develop signs of wear such as minor surface marks, creasing, changes in texture, or other appearance changes.

These can occur through normal handling and use and do not necessarily indicate a manufacturing defect.

Damage caused by misuse, excessive loading, improper cleaning, accidents, neglect, or failure to follow applicable care instructions may not be covered under our Return & Refund Policy.
